Resistance is futile
Jan. 7th, 2008 07:09 pmI resisted buying anything treaty or sweety in Marks and Spencer this evening, even though there were many "let's get rid of this Christmas stuff" offers on. I was proud of myself.
Then, just now, Scott from upstairs returned the four chairs he'd borrowed for the dinner party he'd had last night. "How do you feel about sticky toffee pudding?" he asked.
"I'm unambivalently in favour of it," I said. Well, you're going to get that kind of reply from me if you catch me watching Jeeves and Wooster.
So, it seems the universe doesn't want me to be without sugar tonight. It looks like good pudding, too :)

Attention
fatal_logic! Thanks for letting Abel and Cole know that you heard about them through me; they've sent me an email asking me whether I'd prefer wine or olive oil as a thank-you gift with my next vegbox :)
