Cor, what a lovely day

Ahh. Not only is it gloriously sunny, but it's also a Bank Holiday, and unusually I haven't planned to be stupidly busy getting stuff done. Think I might take my laptop outside and geek in the sunshine for a while before heading up to Clifton Village to see where's open for lunch.

Mmmm.

I needed a day off, I really did.

You know, if it weren't for Mac Manc Manx from Get Fuzzy and the use of the Urban Dictionary to figure out what he was saying half of the time, I wouldn't have known what "cor" meant.

Aside from that, I'm glad you got a day off to rest a bit. Our bank didn't have a holiday today, unfortunately. I had to work, which was okay cause I got some extra pay for it.

I think I'm gonna enjoy my weekend off immensely, though...I have ideas brewing in my skull for a new piece of music.

*grin* I was listening to a lot of Monkey Swallows The Universe (http://www.myspace.com/mstu) yesterday, and their tagline is "Putting the cor! back into recorder", so that's probably where that came from :)

I wish I had ideas for new music brewing in my skull. I was thinking of doing something musical today, but events are conspiring against me...
