Half Marathon

I shall spare LJ the details, which are over on my running blog. Suffice it to say that I ran my first half marathon today, and did it in 2 hours, 53 minutes, and 43 seconds, which I'm very happy with.

I'm actually not feeling too bad, either. But I have a feeling tomorrow may be a different story. Painkillers at the ready...

Congrats! I think that was about my time for my first one too, and my second was about 2hrs 35min and I've not done one since. So if I ever get fit and back into running again, it sounds like we wouldn't be a bad match *&)

I'm thinking of signing up for the Bath Half in March, to give me a good motivation for training through the winter. It'd be nice to do it a bit faster next time...

I've hardly ever run with company -- doing the Bristol 10K with my colleague Mike was only time, in fact -- but a few people have been mentioning it recently. I must start taking up some offers...
