That's it, I've had enough.

It was fun when it started, a few days ago, but now the novelty has worn off, as the initial fluff turns into an annoying mass that's just plain difficult to struggle through, as I believe we can all agree.

Yes. It's time the BBC stopped taking "some snow fell, in winter", and turning it into hours of desperate over-exaggeration and badly-filmed outside broadcasts that get lamer and more laughable with every passing news programme.

Perhaps the BBC could devote some news time explaining to idiot drivers that the best solution to wheels slipping on ice is not "rev the engine as hard as you can, to get the wheels spinning *really* well and sliding excitingly sideways towards parked cars / people / buildings".

I've not seen much bad driving in Bristol so far. But then I suppose I'm mostly either in the icy hilly streets that nobody's even attempting, or in the fairly well-gritted town centre...
