LIFE magazine photo archive

Just launched today is Google's collaboration with LIFE magazine to shove a big archive of (mostly unpublished) images onto t'web.

Browsing so far I've found all sorts of things, including an 1870 image of Hotwells, where I now live. There's also this scene of devastation from the war, which must only be a half-mile from my office.

Anyway. Lots of interesting stuff there, and decently indexed. Have a browse!

Ah, yes, I probably should have done. Never mind, it's not as if there's any other recently-release archive material out there that could steal your time (http://uk.youtube.com/user/MontyPython).
