More Creative Commons Picture usage

More picture usage: Today's entry on the oil pipeline explosion in Minnesota in Steve Levine's The Oil and the Glory blog features a photo of mine from the Bourton-on-the-Water motor museum.

Date: 2007-11-29 09:12 pm (UTC)I can see why people might trip over my stuff when looking for Creative Commons things specific to Bristol, say, because there's probably not that many people taking pictures of St Mary Redcliffe and uploading them somewhere where they'd fall into a Creative Commons search. But there are absolutely tons of petrol-related Creative Commons pictures, even just on Flickr1, and that one doesn't come anywhere near the top of the list.
Oh well. It's nice, whatever the reason, and maybe it's a sign that my photos will sell when I get around to starting to sell them. In the meantime I'm happy enough with that warm fuzzy CC feeling of giving stuff away :)
