Unfortunately, it's the great vegan cafe that the National Trust bought and turned into the sad place I ended up in.
I'm definitely going to go back -- if I'd been on my own I'm sure I would have loved it, it's just the lateness and needing to meet people and having to eat at a particular time and place that made it less than great...
I did actually try standing on a table outside the Red Lion -- either the rain was dampening the reception even more than usual, or my phone's reception isn't so good. Shame the open wireless network I found didn't seem to have the internet behind it; I could've used Skype...
