Just a quickie: This evening I successfully did my first run of the "Couch to 5K" running plan :) There are excruciating details on my shiny new running blog.
I figured that reading about other people's exercise was potentially one of the "I'd rather watch paint dry" experiences for people on my flist, so from now on, that's where I'm going to keep any descriptions of the running that are any more detailed than "I did a run", unless they seem particularly relevant or interesting...

Date: 2009-07-23 06:18 am (UTC)I downloaded a rival "Couch to 5k" program from the app store, just before you mentioned your friend's app, and I've been tempted to try running myself, although I'm still struggling to work out where and when I would run. And still slightly unsure as to whether I would do it or stick with it, given how much I hated running at school.
I'll enjoy reading your blog, and it may motivate me :)
