On the down side, I just heard from The Miscreants, telling me that their Battle of the Bands gig next Wednesday has been cancelled. Shame, as I was getting a free ticket.
On the plus side, yesterday I saw a flyer for a night of music and stories at the Scout Hut next Wednesday, and was annoyed that it clashed with The Miscreants, which meant I couldn't go. So, cloud, silver lining, so forth.
