A splendid meme transmitted via juggzy, here is the first photo I took in each month of 2007 (with only a tiny and justifiable amount of cheating: I removed the couple that were taken on hen/stag dos and which were marked "friends-only" on flickr, and skipped a processed re-issue of an earlier photo in one case.) Oh, and I just had to take one for December because I was lazy at the weekend :)

I'm quite pleased with these. There's a couple of ones that are just a bit meh, but mostly I like this lot.

Some of my friends bought me an origami book for my birthday (i.e. eleven months ago!) and I've just got around to starting to do things with it :)

And no, July isn't my place, it's the rather nice flat I stayed in for Karina's hen party. I liked it so much I took a few photos to remind myself of it for when I finally get around to redecorating my place. Whoever fitted it out had a nice eye for design that leaned toward the minimalist without being cold and stark, and it seemed to suit me.

My place is nowhere near that nice, with it mostly still being on its first incarnation of "kitted out on the cheap from IKEA after putting down the deposit cleaned out my savings..."

There's an excellent origami desk calendar - I've had it for the past 2 years so it's repeating a bit, but good fun if you enjoy it. 'Page a Day' style and yesterday's page becomes today's pattern.

Mmm, I saw one of those in Borders earlier on. I'm going to wait until I'm through this book before I decide to make a long-term commitment, though :)
