gothickLast night, as I was watching the teaser for next week's episode, something struck me. I think I can explain how the Daleks come back time and time again (and the Cybermen, and the Autons, and the Sontarans, and...)
I reckon that the good Doctor is exceptionally skilful at eliminating the terrifying foes of humanity. He's stunningly efficient at wiping out whole battle-fleets; he can destroy entire armies with a sonic screwdriver, with a reflection of their own power, even with a single well-placed word.
It's just that he's not very good at counting them.
That's my theory, anyway :)
