I just heard that Dettol ad that starts off with "Fact: there are 500 times more germs on your chopping board than there are on your toilet seat." And my first thought was, "Hmm. Maybe I should chop vegetables on the toilet seat from now on..." I think I may have been a bachelor for too long.

Interestingly, J's comment with the old advert tagline (kills 99.5% of all known germs dead" was surely if you kill something it IS dead and what about the 0.5% we do know about? Not sure if that was bachelorness or just his usual pedantry:-)
