Photo usage

So far this month, I've had mail to say my Creative Commons photos have been/will be used for:

• Training council workers about the safe use of pesticides
• Showing off the Long Now foundation's stainless steel membership cards.
• Illustrating a blog entry about engraving consumer goods

Not a bad month on the photo side, I'd say. I like seeing the completely unpredictable and unforseen ways that people use the photos I take :)

I've also had a friend ask me to take some photos of him and his family, after seeing some recent holiday photos, which was a lovely compliment to be paid. Think I might be reading a lot about how to take better people pictures in the near future...

Well done you. Not only does this mean your photos are good, but also you're obviously very good at using the right tags to describe the photos so that people can find them.

Maybe you were a cataloguer in a former life? ;->
