Breaking the Ice
This morning in Baristas, there was a particularly succulent pastry on the counter, so I figured I'd take a photo while I was waiting for my latte. Emmeline (sp?), one of the lovely baristas, sees me moving a pair of tongs from the nice wooden counter.
"Oh, yeah, you wouldn't want the tongs in the background. But what about that cookie jar? Or have you just got wood?"
All it needed was a raised eyebrow.
